On July 21, 2024, it was learned from Xinjiang Kunlun Blue Diamond Mining Development Co., Ltd. that the three BKD-10000/220 reactors provided by Three-Transformation Technology for the company's 220kV Blue Diamond Substation were successfully put into operation, with all parameters running stably.
Meticulously designed and strictly controlled for quality. The Blue Diamond 220kV Substation is located in the Kunlun Mountain range on the China-India border at an altitude of 4500 meters, making this project the highest-altitude 220 kV transmission and transformation project in our country, setting a new record in the field of power grid construction. The design of the plateau-type reactors must consider the impact of thin air on heat dissipation, requiring modifications to the cooling system. Additionally, due to the low atmospheric pressure and air density at high altitudes, it is necessary to increase the external insulation level of the reactors.
Precision service, overcoming high-altitude reactions. In response to the high-altitude hypoxia and unmanned area reactions, the company dispatched service personnel experienced in high-altitude conditions. After careful preparation, upon arrival at the service site, the personnel basically adapted to the environment, meticulously inspected the reactors, and carefully examined every detail. It was the precise on-site service of the personnel that ultimately ensured the smooth operation of these reactors.
With the successful operation of the three reactors at an altitude of 4500 meters, it marks that our company's design and manufacturing capabilities for high-altitude transformers and reactors have been fully recognized by the market.
